Old Saybrook is one beautiful town, situated as it is at the mouth of the CT River. Here’s one of our favorite destinations for morning walks, about a half mile from where we live.

The soundtrack for this one was Ry Cooder’s new album Prodigal Son. It’s just a beautiful set of songs, with my favorite on first listen being ‘Jesus and Woody”. He’s one of my longtime musical heroes, for sure.
